Best guitar to practice ... Or not ??

I just had a flashback of an advise someone gave me several years back when I bought a blues DVD course from Nate

He said that...

I should practice with my cheapest guitar (while a newbie, which is what I am) rather than the more costly ones because the more I practice or play with it, the faster the frets wear out and neck board gets its dents. And even if fixed it's just not the same

I've been doing the opposite for the purpose of getting familiar with it's feel, it's sound (which changes depending on amp), and so forth. I have several but since signing up on this forum I only use one. My fave.

By the way....

This will probably be my last technical inquiry.... With the tips received from members here, I pretty much feel ready to just focus on more disciplined practice and follow along the well-made Blues Hound Course to get better and share my progress. I really cannot think of any other questions to ask.

As for gear. I have lots of them. So from here on, I will just focus on my playing and posting my progress. I already asked enough questions, shared enough about me, and now it's time to arrest my lips and let my fingers free to roam the fretboard

As my technical knowledge increases, I will be able to provide feedback to newbies signing up. And contribute somehow

And so..... Is practicing best with cheaper guitars ...OR... with the more costly ones?

What say you?

Thanks in advance and may you all have a blessed, happy, and healthy weekend

Good advice. Thanks.

I chose then the one I really like. It's $500 from All-In-One Guitars. As soon as I grab it, I can't hold back my smile.
