we're in the thick of it today. after dinner we saw on the news that a large, destructive tornado was spotted about 10 miles to the south of us. wiped out the fire station camera. we are a couple of miles north of the polygon and the tornado is moving east, so no danger yet. i stepped outside. the temp dropped 10 degrees. the hail started. the wind whipped. the sky grew dark yellow/green. and all i could think was that @Nate Savage would be proud... i was wearing crocs with socks. worse, i was also wearing shorts. to be fair, the crocs aren't mine... someone left them at my house a while back. the fashion choice, though, was 100% me.
