I am currently trying to learn a couple of songs but one in particular has caught my attention. In fact, it has reignited my interest in playing the guitar. The song is What Are You LIstening To? by Chris Stapleton. The chords are pretty simple,G Am C D Em7; the only one I am not familiar with is Em7. The biggest hurdle in this song is the strum pattern, which really makes the song. I have listened to it over and over and it sounds like he is strumming 8th notes and he definitely accents the first strum throughout the pattern. The count seems like its 1231231231231234, but I can't figure it out. If anyone knows the pattern please let me know. This is a really good song and relatively easy to play except for the strum pattern.
