Yesterday my Country artist friend brought over a mixing board i bought from him because he just got a new fancy one for his band. Then he proceeded to give me a lesson on Drop-D tuning. So today i played around with it. Key of D seems to fit my voice best on many songs and by adding the low-D to the D-chords really feels good with my tone. It is also cool figuring out new fingerings for chords based on the music theory and fretboard knowledge I have received from Nate’s instructions.

Anyone else have anything similar? What is your favorite key to sing?
