Thoughts on rhythm guitar.
In the past year or two, I decided to focus on thythm guitar and work on my timing. I have realized that the old faithful strumming pattern is very versitle; I have used it for at least two different songs. I also learned that learning a little theory is useful. I watched the guitar fam theory lessons and knowing how to put together chord progressions is very helpful. I enjoy putting together a chord progresson and strumming along to it; it is one way I have learned to be more creative with my guitar playing. Also practising chord changes a to metronome is tedious but it pays off and makes it easier to learn songs faster.

All good points @Daphne Turnbull I find that working on my rhythm guitar always makes my lead stuff that much better.
