Super Bowl Halftime Shows

For some the game is everything, for others, only the halftime show is worth tuning in for, and for some, it's an evening to put on a movie or a good book (or to work on your Guitar Challenge songs). Whichever, probably everyone has a favorite halftime musical performance that they remember. My top five would be as follows:

1) 2001 - Aerosmith with Brittany Spears, Timberlake (did they really invite him back in 2018 after the 2004 fiasco?), N'Sync, Joe Perry and his white hollow body electric, and half of the stadium up on stage belting out Walk This Way.

2) 2005 - Paul McCartney - with Drive My Car

3) 1993 - Michael Jackson - Billlie Jean, Black and White

4) 2012 - Madonna - Like a Prayer

5) 2006 - Rolling Stones - Start Me Up, Satisfaction

Close but just getting edged out of the top five were the college marching bands that played in the first handful of Super Bowls starting in 1967 (did anybody else watch these? Was anybody else around back then? 🤔)

I liked JLo and Shakira's show; I also liked Madonna's. I haven't seen Rihanna's show yet but I want to watch it. I think Prince's halftime show was one of the best.
