Never thought I would get to this point - Positioning

There is some good news and some bad news. Over the past 5+ years, I have gotten a lot more serious in my guitar journey; and especially in this pandemic year, I play every day. Sometimes just for fun but mostly my practice time comprises three aspects: theory, application and building on songs. Early on, I thought I could never play the guitar because I have arthritis and my fingers and hands hurt so much, so I would do some stretching and things like I learned from Nate. Somehow it got easier so I didn't stretch as much. Recently, in the last few months, I have been getting a lot of shoulder pain and bicep pain that radiates down my arm. I guess this is good because it means I am playing a lot, but it isn't going away, so I have been trying to stretch before, during and after. Initially I thought it was from my fitness workouts, but clearly it isn't as it is predominately on the left side of my body - the side I hold the guitar with. Do you or have you ever suffered from this type of thing and what did you do to overcome it? Any other suggestions on how to overcome this pain would be appreciated.

On the bright side, I am really starting to notice that my quality practice time is really starting to pay off. Still very much a beginner, but I understand a lot more things and I am getting better for sure. I just hope this isn't going to hold me back.
