Nearly half way through the year, where has the time gone. I thought it time to make a solid plan for the rest of the year, so here are my goals. Not in any particular order.

Stand by me by Ben E King was the first video and first full song that I played on the guitar fam site back in January 23. I’ve decided to revisit and try to compare the two videos and hopefully see an improvement. I thought that this would be a fun thing to do.

Here is the original video. Oooh it’s rough lol. I will post the new one here when it’s done.

As promised here is the 2025 version. I hope that I’ve made some improvements with this since Jan 23 when I posted the one above. I’ve used the same track and guitar to make it a fair comparison. As I said in the video, I’ve tried to incorporate some dynamics and some chordal picking to make it sound a bit nicer.

Let me know your thoughts, please be honest. Your observations will help me to improve. @Nate Savage please use this for the livestream tomorrow if I’m not too late.

Tequila sunrise by the Eagles.seems to be winning in the recent poll for the next fam collaboration, and I love the eagles. This will be my 3rd eagles tune. So I will give it a go.

Practice day 1.

Give a little bit by Supertramp. Started work on this with Nate yesterday.

Streets of London Ralph Mc tell. This one has been on my bucket list for a long time.

Oh well that’s my next six months planned out, let’s see how far I get by the end of the year. Wish me luck.
