This week I have been hitting the books. I have started the Music Theory Course and the Chord Transition Trainer and I am still working on Have You Ever Seen the Rain. If you have viewed my video from last week it becomes very obvious my chord transitions are terrible. The tone quality is so off. It is because my finger accuracy on my left hand is not accurate. Hopefully doing this course will result in accuracy and tonal improvement. In the first lesson of music theory I already knew about whole and half steps. What I did not realize is that each white key is one whole step to the next scale note except for bc and ef. I knew the black keys represent half steps between the white keys and are the enharmonic scale tones.
