Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself I’m a man from PEI. East coast of Canada.
I am in my 60’s so I grew up during interesting musical times. I have been playing guitar for about eight years. My first goal was to be a campfire player and just to be able to make some musical sense. I think I have achieved that goal but it is very plain in my opinion. I want to add a little spice to my playing and improve my skills. I am committed to practicing and I do see improvement. I think my biggest problem is my ability to focus and stay focused I tend to bounce all over the place and at the end of a half hour or so I haven’t accomplished anything. I have followed Nate on different channels and I like his style. So I have started with the Blues Hound lesson and I am following it step by step. At times I get tempted to jump ahead because I am already familiar with what he is teaching but I keep telling myself stick with it if I jump ahead I may miss something. Anyhow I look forward to continuing my journey and improving my skills. Good luck to Nate and Chelsea I feel I am getting excellent value for my investment. I will be passing this site on to different contacts that I have in the hopes the Fam builds and becomes very successful.
Welcome, I can relate to what you are saying about focus. I tend to like variety and sometimes I will try to do too much at once in my guitar practice and have to narrow my focus.
