So, I received my first assignment today and wanted to get off to a good start.

About me: I’m a middle-aged guy originally from New York now living in the south of France. I am truly blessed, and I’m grateful for every day and for every little joy. My guitar journey started with a thoughtful gift of a Chibson 4 years ago from a dear friend who got tired of watching me just play air guitar. I practice (nearly) every day but my progress seems slow.

I have too many favourite guitarists. Basically I’m drawn to anyone who’s lyrical, innovative and plays with heart & soul. Not into metal nor shredding, though Satch is still awesome!

My goals on guitar are simple:

To be able to play what’s in my mind and heart, to uplift others. Or at least please my lady and my dog. To have fun along the way and to always learn and grow with joy. Oh, and to one day play in a local band!
