Hi, I'm Dave and my friend who I play with, suggested I join Guitar Fam. I started playing guitar at the young age of 60. At the end of June 2024 I will have been playing for 8 years. I practice every day from 30 minutes and if things are going good 2 hours. I can play basic chords and the E shape bar chords. I have a hard time playing A shape bar chords. I learned to read sheet music which has really help me to learn new songs. My strumming is good and I can keep the timing very well. I can also play melody but my timing is not great. I have not had any formal training, but my friend is a good instructor. My goal is to improve my playing style and learn more songs.
