Hi there, I'm a new retiree who started to learn guitar on January 1st of this year and absolutely loving it. Just wish I had started earlier😀 The music I love over the years has been quite mixed from Radiohead (my favorite), Steely Dan, U2, Stones, The National, and lately Phoebe Bridger. The first album I ever purchased was Bob Dylan's Desire and is still my favorite. So a real mixed bag. Have just purchased a new electric Acoustic and have been focussing on the basics - chords, strumming, etc. since I started. This month I have incorporated fingerstyle picking / Travis picking into my routine and enjoying this very much. Cheers Murray
