Hey Everyone, I've put this off but knew I should do. Live on Gulf Coast close to Mobile because I doubt anyone knows where Pascagoula, MS or Gulfport is unless you are a Casino Player or stationed here in Air Force.

Well I can start by dating myself. I saw Elvis twice in Hawaii on an Uncle Sam paid vacation, then the Stones and ZZ Top together. Also Johnny Cash, June Carter and Carl Perkins together and Jim Croce during my time there. So enough on age. I bought a Fender Strat in 1968-69 started taking lessons and got draft notice. Didn't get a chance to finish loving that Stat.

Joined and spend next 33 years as Law Enforcment Officer and Pro Pilot.

I have bought several guitars and started to try to learn and always work, family or other activities I let take precedence.

In other words lazy.

Now that I am retired I've only missed two days in over six months not practicing due to fingers being so stiff had to take a day off. Started practicing 20-30 mins a day and now if I don't get two hours in a day I feel like I cheated myself.

Can't get enough of the Blues and SRV just blows my mind but know I will never reach that goal at my age but am going to give best shot. Well would not have reached that level if I had practiced for years but in last six months have practiced more than all of my life put together.

Started to take live lessons in person but discovered Nate online and rest is history. I am seeking out Blues Fests to watch and learn. Basics first of course.

Time will tell, had a complimentary lesson with Nate and he pointed out what I need to work on, almost ran out of pen and paper.

So fortunate I found him, Chelsea and Guitar Fam compared to all the other stuff online.
