I am retired, 77 years old, and enjoying my sunset years. I have always wanted to play guitar and made a few attempts through my lifetime with limited success. I know many of the basic chord shapes and have been attempting to learn a few bar chords up to the 7th fret. To that end I have learned to play (poorly and unevenly) Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender" which gives me a certain amount of pleasure and gratification. My greatest issue learning to play songs is not sounding melodic or rythmic. I am a strummer esentially. I have only recently discovered Nate and Chelsea and have been reviewing their content.
