Hello from Wayne
Hello and the new site looks great. I purchased a few lessons from the "other" site and have had several false starts, but I really want to work at this. Guitar has been like a psycho ex that keeps coming around, but it's a welcomed visit. I do have a few physical neurological limitations that make it a little harder for me, but I hope I'm not using that as an excuse. So I'm a 43 year old father of two who are mostly grown. My daughter is 21 and my son is 18. I have been married for over 20 years but she has been putting up with me for closer to 27, poor girl. ;)~
I'm liking what I am see with the new site and excited to see what Nate and Chelsea are going to bring us. I'm excited to see what the Bar Chord Masterclass and Fingerstyle Courses are going to be. I'm going to be working on the Guitar Foundation Course Work and looking back at the other Courses I have purchased from Nate in the past. Hopefully this will be a real strong start. Besides, my wife has a few songs she wishes for me to learn so I can play them for her. I keep telling her I'm not going to be her little monkey at the carnival so she can get that out of her head. lol ;p
Thank You both for putting this together, for all of us, and I will work on doing my part!
@Chelsea Amber Growing up, I was a total metalhead. My father gave me a little advice about broadening my tastes in different things because if I met a girl that had dis-similar tastes, well that would be one less thing we had in common and that would be a potential missed opportunity. He was right! My wife was a total country music fan. We both increased the diversity in our musical selection and as I mentioned, it's why we fell in love.
