New to Guitar Fam
Hi All,
My name is Earnest, but everyone I know calls me Ted (nickname). I am a retired veterinarian for about 3 years now. I started guitar when I was in highschool with the steel guitar, but life got in the way and that dropped due to lack of time and family obligations. I took it back up 2 years ago with an Aria classical my wife bought when she was in highschool. It was not set up properly so had some trouble with it and after a while I purhased a Breedlove acoustic. It was set up well from the place I bought it. I figured out how to set up the classical guitar and it plays well now.
I had a couple of instructors early on in getting to play. I live in a very rural part of Idaho, so no instructors any where near me. after a while I got to a point of stagnancy so am trying Nate. I am starting with his fingerstyle which I am starting to get back into it. I learned about him by watching his YouTube lesson on Classical Gas. I have been working on that for about 3 months now and am slowly getting it, but a long way to go. The methods in that piece taught me other fingerstyle techniques that I am finally becoming unstuck. I am enjoying his style very much.
Good luck to everyone.
Ted
