We just received a great suggestion from @Matthew to start a thread where people can share their recording setup. It can be as simple or as complex as you'd like!

But here's a caveat for those participating in the cover song challenge: don't let technology discourage you from posting videos! As a simple setup for these cover songs, I suggest playing the song from your computer or another device, and then using the camera on your phone to record a video. If you have the knowledge and equipment to do something fancier than that, go for it!
