Hagstrom Select Super Swede Vintage Sunburst
Yesterday my search for a single-cut guitar ended on a Musicians flea market near my home. In the last weeks, months, I tried several Les Paul style guitars but never was really happy with them. I found the original Gibsons overpriced and not particularly pleasant to play, my tested Epiphones had quality deficits, especially the "Alex LIfeson Access" which first seemed to be a "jack of all trades" but I tried two versions and know that none of them would make me happy.
The Hagstrom I saw yesterday has it all and when I tested it outside with a little mobile amp of the seller, the guitar and me became friends instantly. Feels and looks superb and has lots of sustain.
For years the guitar was in a music store, which then went bankrupt. The seller gave me additional 20 Euro off because the frets had superficial stains - no problem to remove at home. From the Hagstrom serial database I found out that this guitar was built in April 2007.
Welcome Hagrid!

Ooooh it's gorgeous! I love the inlays on the fretboard. Also, I wish we had a musicians' flea market around here! Or maybe I don't because I would spend too much money. HAHA
