Taylor GS Mini joins my home!
After 3 months of trying to learn on a guitar that was too big for me, and getting tired of fighting every day just to hold it, I decided it was time to invest in a new guitar. Inspired by @Chelsea Amber, I started researching the Taylor Gs Mini. And I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Gs Mini-e Koa Plus! It is so beautiful, just looking at it makes me want to pick it up and practice. I know a new or more expensive guitar won't me a better player. But I do believe the shorter scale and smaller size will help me be able learn easier. And did I mention how beautiful it is???
Now if my fingers can adjust to the heavier gauge strings. I was using a set of .11's, and man, these .13's are killing my fingertips. I don't know whether to tough it out for a few weeks, or change to a lighter gauge. Has anyone with the Gs Mini used lighter strings? I've read it can affect the volume, and even the tone. I'm sure my ear can't tell the difference in tone at this point, and since it's me and my dogs in the living room, the volume doesn't matter either. Advice or suggestions?
Thanks again @Chelsea Amber. You are really an inspiration to me!

That is gorgeous!!!
