sure a27m stereo mic bar
i held off posting anything about this until i'd had a chance to use a few times. the a27m runs about $90, and is roughly 2 to 3 times the cost of many others. i watched instructional videos on other brands, and after watching how difficult they were to setup, i thought i'd give this a try. i am not disappointed.
first, it's built like a tank. second, it makes setting up various stereo types (90 degree x y shown below) breeze. the top twists to quickly lock down the angle, and easily adjusts to any coincident (like x y) or wide seperation (like ortf).
nothing slips. rock solid. easy setup and adjustment. compact. supports coincidental alignmnets. allows rearrangement of segments to support mics with larger heads/diaphrams.
if you plan to hang from a boom mic, consider the extra weight of the a27m and additional mic.
let there be stereo...

Very cool! I eventually want to start producing my own music at home rather than hiring producers and this seems like it would be a great tool for that.
