I've been on a bit of a tear lately buying and selling overdrive pedals. In my adventures I came across a little gem that I think is like the swiss army knife of overdrive pedals. It's a dual overdrive called the Strymon Sunset. While it is pretty expensive new, you can pick one up used for a pretty reasonable price.

The nice thing about this pedal is that it is six different types of overdrives all in the same box. To me this is cool if you have limitied space and can only bring a couple of pedals, or if you are just starting to explore what type of drive/distortion pedals you like. Anyway, pretty happy with this little guy. What are some of your favorite drive pedals? Wait... maybe you shouldn't post those. I don't need any more encouragment to hunt down new gear and then sell it. ;P
