Setting up a singing practice routine

I recently did a couple of videos where I sang and played guitar. From that , I realized that I need to practice singing more consistently. Anyone have advice on setting up a practice routine and what should be in that routine? Right now, I do a quick warm up I found on youtube and practice singing the songs I am learning on guitar. I wonder if I should change it up and occasionally practice singing songs that I am not currently learning on guitar . Are there other things I should add to my practice routine?

Setting up a practice routine is a great way to improve your singing! Some things I keep in mind when I practice: - Always warm up - Practice 3-5 times a week. It’s important to take a couple days off to let your voice rest. - No need to practice any more than about 45 mins at a time. At that point you get diminishing returns because your voice is getting tired. I usually do these 3 things when I practice: (1) Warm up. (2) Do some exercises targeted at the specific areas/techniques I need to work on. (3) Go over the song I’m working on.
