Welcome
The purpose of this group is provide a curated place where members can share what they've learned with other members...
Courses: usually covers either complicated topics or provides an in-depth exploration of a topic. Typically has learning aides (slides, video, audio samples, etc.).
How-to / Tips: covers less complicated topics or a narrow focus. Typically has a set of procedures or guidelines
Techniques: narrow focus like a "how-to" but with a video or learning aids to demonstrate the technique.
Songs: tab (guitar pro, etc.) of a song/solo/riff you've figured out or a video walk thru of how to play it.
Play-a-long Practice: video / audio, tab or guitar pro files, etc.
Topics can span from music theory to fretboard navigation to strumming patterns to using recording software to writing a song to...
To make the info accessible we will need to curate it... that means carving out some categories... first step is inventory...
I have a few courses put together on theory, fretboard navigation, and soloing. I plan to do a video walk thru of a couple of songs. I have some right hand exercises I can put out as a play-a-long practice for fingerstyle down the road.
I know @Andy Wright has some play-a-long strumming practice and @Jim Mrvos has lots of classical exercises tucked away.
If you've got something you'd like to teach others, leave a comment.
I'll put together a table of contents as a start.
Have you spoke to Nate about us doing this, as he is the teacher and I wouldn’t want to cloud what he does for us all.
