"Let It Be"
The Beatles’ classic song “Let It Be” is mostly piano-driven, so what do you play on guitar for the rhythm parts? That’s what we cover in this lesson. Of course, the video, TAB and jam track are available on this page to make learning fun.
My idea was to create a guitar part that could be used in place of the piano part. The song starts out pretty tame and slowly ramps up as you go along. With that in mind, the first verse and chorus use an easy version of the guitar part. The second verse and course bring the energy up with a more intermediate strumming pattern. The third verse and chorus switch to a fingerstyle version of rhythm guitar. You can pick the version that best suits your skill level or musical tastes.
There are only a handful of chords used in this song, so if you are a beginner, you can get through the entire tune with the easy version. Have fun, and let us know if you have any questions by leaving a comment below or emailing us at support@guitarfam.com
