Overcoming Playing Bar Chords

A couple of weeks ago, I sent out a survey asking what you were struggling with most on the guitar. I knew bar chords would be high on the list but I didn’t realize that so much of my audience here on the Internet is struggling with them on a regular basis. In fact they are such a big problem that I’ve decided to make this Bar Chord Week on the site. I’ve even started working on a larger training course on just bar chords.

So this week, I’ve got three videos to help you overcome bar chords and turn them into your best friend. Here is the first video. It’s a little primer to get you pumped about playing bar chords, and it also contains the first couple of tips to help you get started. Keep an eye out for the other bar chord videos in your inbox over the next few days. I’m excited for you to get past this roadblock and progress with your playing.

If you are having a really tough time with bar chords, you can schedule a personal 1-on-1 video lesson with me. The first one is complimentary so there is no risk or obligation. Go here to schedule your first lesson.

If you need to get the basics of playing the guitar down, you should go through the Guitar Foundations course here. You can also invest in the accompanying Ebook here. Let us know how things are going for you and if you have any questions by leaving a comment below.
