I believe we all need inspiration at times. I get my morning dose of musical inspiration by watching & listening to some of the best guitarists in the world of FingerStyle on YouTube. Here are a few of my favorite:
Justin Johnson: https://youtu.be/Ag60E3RWzTk
Tommy Emmanuel: https://youtu.be/S33tWZqXhnk
Gabriella Quevedo: https://youtu.be/fqfHLsT1b0o
Nate Savage: https://youtu.be/-Qgm5zkjIDo
These should be of interest to @Irwin1957 as he is ALL-In on fingerstyle.
How do you get your musical inspiration? And from Who?
Great videos!! Looking forward to seeing what other inspirations people list here. I'd contribute, but my inspirations have been more in the blues direction rather than fingerstyle.
Flattering the teacher works David. ;) But seriously. Thanks for bringing this up. Here are a few of my favorite fingerstyle videos.
Monte Montgomery - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hspQv-vXe2w
Doc Watson - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caeqIHwUcVw
Doyle Dykes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBRluhR6v8U

Hey @David Lieder, you are correct, I am ALL IN. And since we are sharing videos, here is the one for me that sort of started it all. Not only a killer live performance, but a surprising amount of camera time on the fingerstyle playing itself.
I worked long and hard practicing this song for a solid few months with Nate. For me to reach a point where I can pick up my guitar, play this song, sing along to it, with no need to look at a chord chart or tab because I practiced it so many times that it remains in my head...Guitar Fam, that feeling is what this is all about!
Fantastic performance!
