Wireless Connections
Question for Nate or anyone who wants to answer: I am impressed with the success of the wireless mics that singers use. They used to almost trip over cords as they moved around on stage. So I am wondering why electric guitarists do not use wireless connections to the amplifiers. Too expensive? Not practical? Not possible? Or maybe some guitarists do use wireless and I just don't know about them. I don't play an electric guitar very often and I seldom connect my acoustic-electric to an amplifier, but when I do, I grouse to myself about having to deal with the cords.

Hi @Marian B. Mendez Yeah, wireless systems for guitar are getting cheaper and simpler all of the time. The level you will want to go really depends on what you are using it for. For home use, I really like the smaller dongle type wireless systems. They are relatively inexpensive, small, and easy to use. Here are a couple of examples.
If you are going to be playing shows, I'd probably go with something more robust.
Hope that helps Marian. Let us know what you end up doing. :D
