Cuba

So I was in Cuba last week to referee at The Habana Taekwondo Open. On saturday i had time to enjoy the city a little. I've been there a few times so knew what I was looking to do.

First took an old '55 Chevy Bellaire Taxi to the Artisian market. Looked at paintings for a couple hours. Ended up buying 5 local artist paintings for houses in Texas and Cayman.

Also bought cap and tshirt which I worn Sunday at Open Mic.

Went to restaurant for lunch, Cuban rum & cigar.

Then as we were leaving the restaurant to the airport I spied a guy carrying a guitar. Of course I had to ask him if I could play a song. He obliged. I played and sang a song on the streets of Havana. Thought I had a video of it but my taxi driver didn't push record. Oh well, maybe next time.

Whoa, local art. So cool. Wish I was there to enjoy a cigar with you.
